i got to sleep in today! yessss. 9:00 is an accomplishment to me. and the only reason i woke up was that darn Floppy looking for someone to cuddle up with. and i wont complain about that! :-)
| wouldn't it make an awesome Where's Waldo shirt?! |
I took the car from tony. it's okay, he was at work anyways. and he gave me permission.
and down to Provo i went! last minute trip to hang out with my girls? i think YES! i'm stuck at a light on University Parkway in Orem and i get a call "i'm two cars behind you!" i love jodi!! so we stopped and Jodi got In and Out for all of us! it was delish. as always! then to Sammis we went! i love how much fun we can have. i love being able to catch up with those girls. laugh and joke and catch up on the home stake gossip. (it's just stuff like who's marrying who, etc. nothing bad) I finished my wicked awesome canvas! (i'll post a picture tomorrow. i'm too lazy to take a picture with it tonight.) and then sam and i helped jodi scrap book some rad pics. basically... we had an awesome time.
| jodes and sam. midair. love it. |
hahaha i just thought: i wish i lived close to them. guess what!? i live a heck of a lot closer than i did in high school!! hahaha. crazy stuff. i wish we had spent more time together when we were all living in Rexburg. but our lives were all at different places at the time. but i'm so thankful that we can still rely on each other, and we still have a friendship. even after sammi got married. "it will be different. We know Jeff, and we still see you!" :-P
i got to chit chat with tony today. he just learned that Provo/Orem has a crap load of college age kids. i dont doubt he'll be down there 'partying' soon. haha

i was texting ferg for a bit tonight. pretty amazing that we can still talk. SUCH a new experience for me. i love it. i hope we can keep this up, and be friends.....
Liz, Lance, Brady, and I ended up playing cards for a couple hours tonight, with the added bonus of brownies and ice cream. it was a blast! Mormon Bridge. it took me back to the last family reunion we had at g-ma jeffersons. it was a lot nicer to sit at the table than on the floor of grandmas attic surrounded by dead bugs and the familys old stuff. haha we had a lot of laughs. p.s. i rocked a game of solitaire!
alas. it is time for sleep. i'll leave you with some words that remind me of today. and my great friends.
sweet dreams, and know you are loved.
P.s. Wisconsin should've won that game!! We should be 7-0. Sigh.
