Happy Sabbath blogging world. it has been an amazing sunday.
i went to bed last night after taking two excedrine, a sleeping pill, and getting an adjustment from chiropractic uncle sid. i didn't set my alarm for this morning because i figured if i still had my migraine i'd need to be sleeping until i woke up on my own. and guess what!? at 7:04 i woke up! migraine free!
i woke up just in time to get ready and go to jodis house. we headed to the Dee Events center for a regional stake conference broadcast. We were blessed to listen to Elder Neil L Anderson, Sister Wixom (the primary general president) and our beloved prophet Thomas S Monson.
i feel so unbelievably blessed to have the opportunity to hear his words live, twice in one month. he is such an inspiring man. i love him.
i came home in time to go to the combined priesthood/relief society meeting about Temples. that was pretty rad too. i love talking about the Lords house. what a blessing it is to live so close to so many temples. i love it.
After church i have been able to talk to dad and lynn! i love my family so freaking much. they make me happy in ways i can't describe. they know me and love me just the way i am. that is so important for me.
now i'm sitting here listening to eric serenade the house with his amazing piano playing abilities. i love listening to him play. it soothes my soul and puts me at ease. he has such skill. i wish i had his talent. i admire my brother so much for everything he is able to do.
i am so blessed in my life. how can i ever been sad when there is so much to be happy about? well i know how, but i'm choosing not to be.
alright. pumpkin carving time.
our pumpkins were AWESOME!! it was so much fun to watch everybody carve theirs. mine turned out a dud. but it's okay, i had fun anyways.
sometimes... i feel really alone. and unimportant. and forgotten.
but it's okay. because i know i am loved. and i am never ever alone. i have a Father in Heaven who loves me more than i will ever know. and i have a big brother who gave His life for me. He felt every pain and sorrow i have felt. And they are both watching me, rooting for me to succeed in life. and they are wanting to tell me how much they love me, but I have to remember to talk to them. And i need to remember that everything bad that happens to me... is for a reason. and everything good that happens to me, is a blessing from them.
i am so thankful for the knowledge i have of the gospel. i'm thankful for the joy it brings me every day.
