Teenage years...

So, i had a marvelous realization today. In only a matter of days (14 to be exact) i will no longer be a teenager. as soon as i realized that i asked myself, should i be excited or disappointed? in my mind teenagers are seen as the most annoying people on the face of the earth. yet teenagers can get away with so much more. they don't have to be mature or responsible, its such a carefree live lifeto the fullest time in life. And once you turn 20 all of that changes! i dont want to be annoying. but i do have to grow up? when i mention be turning 20 to my sister, her reaction was something of 'i can't believe you're only going to be 20 because you act so much older than that.' and she's right. i feel like i should be turning 21 or something! and if i were... boy would my life be totally different right now.

i'm not really sure where i'm going with this. i guess i'm just trying to figure out if turning 20 should be depressing because i'm losing opportunity to be immature and irresponsible, or should it be exciting because i'll be taken more seriously and be closer to the age i act?

p.s. maybe i should take the statement 'act your age' seriously and chill out a little?

*sigh*

i liked your post, dear cousin. :)
you know, not everyone could lead a teenage life as mature as you. and as for me, i loved being able to excuse my irresponsible behavior on my being a "teenager." growing up stinks sometimes, but yeah, anyway, hope you're having a great time!

umm... i kind of liked the phrase "i feel like i should be turning 21 or something" haha cuz in reality... the difference between 20 and 21 is insignificant... espcially when you're YOU and already acting like you're 25 at sometimes haha love you sis!
