back to... nothin

wow. a week later. i'm making progress of staying up on this whole blog thing. haha well the excitement of this last week:

i hurt my back!!

i was at work and.. blah blah blah. i screwed up my back.  so i've been off work most of the week. i hurt it friday. and friday night was seriously the scariest night of my life. i was with a patient when i hurt it. and then i had to keep working while the supervisor tried to find someone to replace me. once i finally got to leave, i went straight over to urgent care to get whatever process needed to happen... started. i was in a lot of pain. i couldn't sit, stand or lay comfortably for anything more than like 3 seconds. my back hurt, and i had pain down my left leg. the dr prescribed an antinflammatory and a muscle relaxant. Godsend!! mom drove me home and  i laid on the couch for a long time, with the heating pad under me and my prescriptions in my system. when i tried to get up to go down to bed. oh. em gee. i have never been in that kind of pain! i just started to cry. i couldn't believe that that kind of pain existed. and the thought of having that pain for the rest of my life... scared the crap out of me. i slept terribly friday night. seeing as i move a lot when i sleep, and i couldn't move without pain. but saturday morning i was already a lot better. and i've progressed every day since then. (except today hurts a little more) monday i went and saw a dr that decided that i could NOT go back to work yet. i was limited to 10 lbs. that means no cna work. so the hospital found easy peasy paper work for me to do. ha. ha. i hated it. but alas. money is money.

and the other thing we've been up to.... mom, dad and i have been car shopping like crazy!
