wed-nes-day

well. i was literally in bed about to try to sleep, when i remembered i am trying to be a good sister and i have all of tonys incredibly stinky laundry sitting in our laundry room. so out of bed i got, dressed i got, and now i'm sitting in the kitchen waiting for his laundry to continue wash.

i've had a headache all evening. and as that shows, headaches take everything out of me. i hate headaches.

since i have to wait for all the laundry i may as well take bradys advice and blog about my group dinner last night.... as i may or may not have mentioned, i got called to the dinner group committee in my ward. we organize everyone thats interested in to groups of 8-10 people for dinner once a month. the groups change every month, as do the hosts. it's a pretty awesome plan. and my dinner group last night was AWESOME! i got to meet and get to know a bunch of people i'd never really met before, and it was absolutely hilarious. we had a lot of funny people and a lot of personalities that clicked. there was rarely ever a lull in the conversation, and jokes were always being cracked. Steve and Rob even made some delicious lasagna. and with our bread, and salad we had a pretty amazing meal. i'm impressed.

i met a new client for work today. that was exciting. i love meeting new kids, and learning how i will be able to help them. it's also kinda scary to think i am part responsible for helping this kid get over some pretty major issues. but i have faith in myself, my knowledge, and in my support from Heavenly Father. so i will be able to help her. promise.

so i have fallen in love with a new food, Pomegranate. it is unbelievably delicious. i can't believe it took me 23 years to find out about this!

i made tater tot casserole tonight. tony texted asking for the car. come to find out the house he's living at lost power yesterday. so he was headed to wyatts for the night. so i figured hey, i may as well make him some dinner since i had some time on my hands.

so wisconsin lost tonight. by three. i think the best shot of the night was the buzzer beater from half court. too bad it wasn't the game winning shot. but it was still RAD! as you can see from the picture below, i was all decked out for wisconsin and then what!? nothing. as dad just texted: if they had made their threes like they normally do, they would've won.

i absolutely love where i live. i love that i live with my aunt and uncle. i love that i can stay up to 11 talking to Liz, just like i would my roommates at college (although we usually stayed up until far later than 11 haha)
so i've started itching for a trip. i feel like i need to go back to Hawaii. but i dont think that'd be good for me. unless i went to Maui or Kauai or something. I dont think i can do Oahu yet. but really, i can't afford that. but i could afford a trip to Taiwan. hmmm.

i think it's funny that i've started to plan my weekend around football games. i'm so excited for the BYU game. really. it's gonna be awesome. but i'm not so excited about the fact that i'll prolly be watching it by myself. at my house. that's honestly the lamest way to watch a game. okay. maybe i'll be watching it with sid. but he falls asleep, so i'll pretty much be watching it by myself. no bueno. oh wells. i've learned to be alone.

my sister sent me this youtube video once and it has really stuck with me. there are times when i am doing something and i'll just flash back to a line from this video and i'm so dang proud of myself. i have a lot to learn and to work on, but i've accepted my singleness. i may even like it too much. but maybe not.

OH this morning i actually had time to read my scriptures instead of at night before i go to bed. and i can i just tell you how awesome that is!? to start the day on a spiritual high, when they say life can only go up from here, it's hard to think that life can only get go up from that starting point. but it tooootally does! it's pretty great.

dang i'm getting pastey white. i dislike it. but i refuse to go tanning. i could start a rant (similar to the one i heard my sister say in the car a few times last weekend) but i will not. because i'm trying to be less opinionated. i'll just leave it at i'm pastey white and i'm okay with it.

Ellie and I are going to the Christmas Devotional this weekend! is it really this weekend?! and i'm so SO excited for it. i've never been to it live. i'd like to go see the Lights on Temple square while we're down there. that would be fun.

alas. the second load of laundry is almost done. and i'm starting to get to the point of tired depression. so i'm gonna say good night and continue in 2 Nephi.

sweet dreams world.
