Sara Michi: October Resolutions

so i stayed up WAY too late last night. reading my blog. and i found this post from new years time. and it went over the highlights of last year. THAT was a fun to read. so many amazing things happened. but at the bottom i listed a bunch of things I’d like to do or I knew i would do this year.

be maid of honor in Gills wedding

go to: Washington DC, Hawaii, Portland

go visit fergie in Kansas City

Harry Potter land in Orlando

buy a new digital SLR Canon 60D would be my dream

this is the first time i think i've ever made new years resolutions. and so it's the first time i've ever been able to FIND them and find out of i actually did them. i know you're thinking 'but it's only september! you are supposed to look at this in december' but i can't help it!! i am so EXCITED!!

1. i TOTALLY was the maid of honor in Gills wedding in May. i was also in tiffanys wedding. i was also at the temple with sammi and at one of her receptions. i was also at my cousins wedding. FOUR weddings. one summer. that was far beyond what i expected.

2. i TOTALLY did go to Washington DC! my cousin got married there! dad and i flew out. ch-ch-check! Gill and I made a spur of the moment trip to Hawaii. i say spur of the moment because really, who plans a trip to Hawaii in less than a month? yep, we do! i haven't yet gone to Portland this year, but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen. BUT i did see the reason i was gonna go there since Lynn and the girls came to WI in august.

3. :-/ i broke up with ferg. but i still really want to go to Kansas City. i'm weird, i know.

4. i haven't made it to Orlando this year, BUT i have plans of going for the Jefferson Woman retreat in February.

5. I got my 60D just before i moved out here, happy graduation to me!

i dont know why i wanted to share this with you so bad. i just found it absolutely amazing that it's only september and I have already completed so many things on my list. i love my life.

Now, as you may have noticed. i titled this post 'october resolutions' because now that' i've moved here i say i should kind of start over. well, not start over. we could say this is like the 'school year' kind of year instead of a calendar year. or we could say it's cuz i just moved here last month. whatever the reason: i have some resolutions i want to list now, so i can look back in a few months and find out if they ever got accomplished. (this is seriously such an awesome concept to me!!)
