Wed-nes-day

I'm hanging out with my big brother right now. He's a sicky right now so we're watching star wars!! I like hanging out with my brother. We are just sitting here on our iPhones. :P

Today has been pretty mellow which has kinda been a nice break.

I changed the tail light today!!! I'm so proud of myself. i bought the bulbs this morning. i called dad because i thought i'd heard him say not to touch the actual bulb of a car bulb. so i wanted to call to be sure. so i called him and said 'i'm about to change a tail light dad' his immediate response was 'dont touch it with your fingers' hahahaha it's like he read my MIND!

my parents are amazing. as i've complained before, i can't find my winter hats and gloves/mittens. and since i'm 2,000 miles away, i can't exactly search myself. but my parents keep randomly texting me and calling me telling me where they looked and that they didn't find anything. as silly as it may sound, i have been praying to find it. and i have faith that we will find it all. i love faith. i love having faith.

i had a friend that was depressed a lot. he was also agnostic. do you know how hard it is to give someone hope, when they think there is nothing out there in the world. a world without Heavenly Father sounds like an unbearable world indeed.

i started a new tv series on hulu tonight. Once Upon A Time. looks... interesting. i watched the beginning part and it said "they were cursed to an earth that had no happily ever after. they were cursed to earth" and i thought HA so TRUE. but not true, i know. i will have my happily ever after too. and then i kept thinking about it. and most of the now 7 billion people on the earth think it's 'till death do us part' but i am so happy to be able to know that i will have my happily ever after. forever.

as i drove home from erics house tonight i was listening to my All Time Low pandora station and it just makes me happy. it takes me back to some crazy fun times. that stations is the greatest thing when i'm in the car. i only love that station in the car. when i'm in bed blogging/pintresting, or when i'm getting ready in the morning... it just doesn't work the same.

so.... King Benjamin was such an amazing man! obviously, i just started Mosiah. and i LOVE it. of course. He was an example of leading by service. basically my whole life my dad has been a bishop or in the bishopric. and i'm so thankful that i was able to watch my dad serve as he led. what an example to strive to be like.

i can't believe tomorrow is thursday! this week is going by so FAST! it's unbelievable. my co-worker made a comment today about how slow her week is going. and i just laughed. this week is FLYING. i hardly have time to eat! BUT  the thing i love about my schedule: i work two jobs, i'm starting to work a LOT. but i still have plenty of time to sleep! not working till 10 is my saving grace. Heavenly Father knew what was necessary for me to survive. just likei never had a class before 9 at college, i do better with later. :-)

alright folks. ellie and i are throwing an 11:11 party on friday! i feel like something epic needs to go down. but i have no idea what. let me know if you think of any genius ideas. :-)

can't wait for this busy weekend!!!: erics birthday meal (whenever it can happen), nikka coming for a night, hopefully seeing ferg, 11/11/11 party, and i'm sure there will be so much more!
