Goodbyes

Mom came for a visit this week. I am grateful beyond words for the time I was able to spend with her. But the goodbye is still difficult.

I think the hardest part of our goodbye is knowing she is so far away and not knowing when I'll see her again. 

But I know I will. And I know I can communicate with her day or night. And I know I will spend eternity with her. 

Japan is just so far away.
